Another effort, he said, is to open a Museum of Archaeology for visitors in Santiago de Cuba to appreciate the richness of that heritage in a central location that is interactive and dynamic.
Likewise, he explained, it will work on a project in the town of El Cobre, where four years ago was declared National Monument the Cultural Landscape and the sites named roads of the Virgin of Charity image.
There are planned actions in the Augustine Cebreco Park and other values of the traditional mining town, scene of slave uprisings and natural charms as an artificial lake with blue waters by the effect of the mineral, and in the cultural field the Monument to the Cimarron, said.
We will continue working, said Omar Lopez, on the sea promenade and the San Pedro de la Roca Morro Castle, and on this one will be held an international workshop for the management plan, as part of the World Heritage Site.
On the occasion of the 20th birthday there will be book presentations, exhibitions and the Coffee Roads Project, with the circuit in the Gran Piedra, with Isabelica, and prepares the two with the rescue of the Fraternity hacienda, for their future link within the mountains.
It comprises several stages and is sponsored by the Office of the Curator, the European Union and the Malongo Foundation of France.
