Gustavo Frómeta, health director in the untamed territory, explained that these investments, some already completed and others in process, covering nine municipalities and respond to the need for improved imaging standards, working conditions and raise the quality of care the population.
The works include construction and renovation activities in offices of family doctors, clinics, hospitals, health care units and insurance, to the restoration of services and installation technologies, he said.
Frómeta mentioned repairing rooms Urology and Angiology, Microbiology Lab and remodeling of medical residency at the Provincial Hospital Saturnino Lora, as well as expanding the intensive care service at the Heart and installing an angiography.
While in the Ambrosio Grillo Hospital, a room dedicated to providing assistance to tourism was completed, the physical medicine and rehabilitation services were repaired, in addition to operating rooms, women and geriatric medicine, he said.
Frómeta also highlighted the rehabilitation of the premises for the installation of a new gamma camera technology for effective diagnosis and treatment in the Oncology Hospital Conrado Benitez Garcia.
Boarding stand construction and Neonatal Health Eater guard; Salon repairs antepartum, delivery and cesarean in the South Mariana Grajales Maternity Hospital and the Maternal East, where they attend work pregnant with risks and the Provincial Center of Medical Genetics, said.
The manager spoke mounting new laundry equipment at the Hospital General Doctor Juan Bruno Zayas and North Children's Hospital, together with repair facilities Orthopaedics and Psychiatry at Children's Hospital South.
He also stressed the conclusion of the Provincial Laboratory of Microbiology and renovation tasks in the Psychiatric Hospital Gustavo Machin, where the legal entity is organized.
