Italian Airline Resumes Flights to Cuban Tourist Destination

Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, Jul 13 (Prensa Latina) Italian tour operator Eden Viaggi started summer trips to Jardines del Rey tourist destination with the arrival of first batches of families in a direct one-fligh-a-week from Milan to Cayo Coco.
Running from July to mid September, this is a way to increase the entry of Italian tourists in the resort, located in the northern keys of Ciego de Avila.
Since last year, the Italian market is growing in that recreational pole in the wake of the opening of the Eden Village club at the Gran Caribe Club Cayo Guillermo hotel in December, 2014.
The facility has 44 rooms in two-store wooden cabins, equipped for the family sector that includes mainly children and youngsters.
According to Eden Viaggi executives, Cuba is a destination that offers safety to the foreign visitor, besides a sun and beach product, its culture, traditions and a healthy,, worderful nature.
This Italian tour operator also runs clubs in Cayo Largo del Sur, Cayo Santa Maria and another one to be completed soon in the Cuatro Palmas hotel, in Varadero.
Jardines del Rey, some 200 km of Havana, is considered among important recreational poles in Cuba because its dynamism, the growth in the arrival of visitors and hotel development.
It has more than 7,000 rooms in 17 hotels, a number expected to grow even more by the end of the year after new facilities start operation.
