Havana, Jul 14 (Prensa Latina) Cuban bartender Reynier Ernesto Rodriguez will participate in the Regional Cocktail Competition, Angostura 2015, to be run in Panama in August, according to statement from the organizers of the event today.
Rodriguez is a bartender at the Up and Down bar-restaurant, in this capital, part of the new non-state food houses arising as of the updating of the Cuban economic model that takes into account cooperatives and private establishments.

The chosen bartender was first in the national cocktail championship with that product, held at the Riviera Hotel in the capital last weekend, where some 15 bartenders competed in the presence of directors from Trinidad and Tobago, producers of bitters.

They also meant that the Cuban winner will also participate in the Angostura Global Cocktail Challenge 2016, to be held in Trinidad Tobago.

The competitors used in the competition the aromatic and orange bitters from Angostura.
