Havana, Oct 7 (Prensa Latina) The film EL séptimo sello (The Seventh Seal) by director Ingmar Bergman will be screened in Havana on Sunday, as part of the second Swedish Culture Day, which lasts until October 14. According to the Uruguayan critic, Manuel Martinez Carril, the film shows a metaphysical aspect of the human being in the search for answers to the existential restlessness or doubt.
In addition to this feature film, the documentaries Bergman Island by Marie Nyrerod and Through the Eyes of the Choreographer by Fredrik Stattin will also be screened.
A concert with the Stockholm Chamber Choir, a fashion show and the presentation of Bergman's work Intimate Conversations, performed by Swedish actress Hilde Gorpe, are also scheduled.
