cuba turnat eventoHavana, Jul 28 (Prensa Latina) The International Event on Nature Tourism Turnat 2015, set for next September, will have amid its main topics the environmental protection, said its organizers.
"On this occasion, the tenth international event will be held in the Cuban western region where truly interesting landscapes are located", said Emma Rosa Fonseca, commercial director of Ecotur, and Franklin Marin, specialist in that company.

The event is scheduled from September 22 to 27 this year, when a growing spiral of Cuban tourism is occurring, particularly in nature and adventure offers.

Turnat 2015 will be dedicated to western Cuba and along with the traditional surprises offered with the trails, this time diving and fishing options will be joined and participants will be able to practice them.

The opening ceremony of the talks on conservation and agrotourism will take place at the National Botanic Garden of Havana, in the scientific headquarters of that institution.

Cuba was visited last year by more than three million people and is ranked the third most relevant tourist destination in the Caribbean following the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, with increased and varied tourist options, including nature trips.
