Bogota, Aug 5 (Prensa Latina) Cuba will take part in a four-team international meet for the peace in Colombia, as part of the Summer Festival in celebration in the Colombian capital and other cities.
Just after having recently arrived from a tournament in Rotterdam, Holland, Cuban manager Victor Mesa will coach the Cuban team representing the Caribbean island.

The event will gather teams from Bogota, Cordoba and Bolivar.

According to the baseball authorities, the Cuban team will be composed by catcherrs Eriel Sanchez and Onel Vega, accompanied by infielders Lourdes Gourriel Jr., Anibal Medina, Jefferson Delgado, Luis Felipe Rivera and Yeniet Perez.

In the outfield, there are veteran Carlos Tabares, Ariel Sánchez, Edilse Silva , Victor Victor Mesa Jr, and the pitchers will be Alain Sanchez, Yulieski González, Vladimir García, Yosvani Perez and Jose Angel Garcia.

The main team of Cuba, directed by Roger Machado, won the bronze medal "in extremis" in the recent Pan American Games in Toronto, thanks to two home runs in a row of Yorbis Adolis Borroto and Jose Garcia.
