Havana, Aug 9 (Prensa Latina) The Project Team Cuban Rumba announced the 17th edition of Rumba Grande para Hombres Inmensos (Large Rumba for Huge Men), to celebrate the 89 birthday of the historic leader of the revolution Fidel Castro.

According to the newspaper Juventud Rebelde, in the Palacio de la Rumba of this capital there will be also celebrations for the celebrating for the birthdays of the Heroes of the Republic of Cuba, Rene Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez Llort.

Organized by the Cuban Institute of Music, the International Committee for Peace and Justice, and the company Ignacio Piñeiro, the celebration has as president of honor the maestro and famous pianist Frank Fernández.

For his part, Guillermo Amores and Javier Giral are responsible for producing the show.

The initiative of Cuban rumba players takes place in the capital of the country for several years and includes the folk group of spiritual songs NSILA Cheche, the groups Timbalaye, Addaché and Iyerosun , the poet Revesón and a representation of the Guaracheros de Regla.
