Havana, Oct 27 (Prensa Latina) National and foreign participants of the Radio and TV Convention in Cuba give the last touches to the expofair of this event that starts Monday and will extend to October 30 in the Cuban capital.
Specialists in audiovisual and radiophonic productions of over 35 countries are part of the delegation accredited to attend the event, informed organizers.

The expofair will show materials of some 10 nations, belonging to companies dedicated to contents, the supply of technologies, studies of audiences and scenographic productions, among others.

Meanwhile, master lectures, event of producers and workshops will be the central attraction of the convention.

According to the director of International Relations of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT), Katiuska de Hombre, the debates will be focused on spreading the history and projection on environmental protection.

Representatives of public TVs of different nationalities will analyze the trends of audiovisuals in the world, while national papers will deepen on how the media can contribute to support the social programs of the country.

The workshops will deal with topics like communication for development, radio and TV production, history and identity in audiovisuals, the environment, investigation and creation, music and digital techniques.

Among the speakers, the ICRT executive extolled the secretary general of Iberoamerican Educational TV Programming, Alberto Ferrer, the president of the Community Media Network of the state of Anzoategui in Venezuela, Jesus

Rodríguez; and the president of the Albatros Media Foundation of Panama, Alejandro Balaguer.

Organizers also expect a delegation from the Central TV of China that will debate on contents and journalism.
