Havana, Jun 28 (Prensa Latina) Dominican salsa singer Jose Alberto, known for his melodious voice as "El Canario", will give a concert for the first time in Havana on Sunday, at Salon Rosado de La Tropical, the stage where major musical orchestras perform in Cuba.
Havana, Jun 29 (Prensa Latina) The International Summer Laboratory "Traspasos Escenicos," sponsored by the University of Arts in Cuba (ISA), begins today with great performance, where local and Mexican artists are involved. Sponsored by ISA, the aim of this 4th-edition event, to be run until July 4, is to take theater to street to democratize the experience, its organizers stated.
Experts from different disciplines from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Cuba will participate in the workshops of the event.
