Eduardo Diez Mesa, duty technician, performs an analysis of the latest quake in Rio Carpintero seismological station, located in the foothills of the Gran Piedra, 13 kilometers from the city of Santiago de Cuba.
Since last Sunday January 17 in Santiago de Cuba began an anomalous seismic situation, the workers of the National Seismological Research Center, based in this city, maintain close monitoring of this phenomenon.
Part of that work is done at different monitoring stations that exist throughout the country.
