Havana, April 14 (Prensa Latina) The Head of the Cuban Vaccination Program, Lena Lopez, has announced the second stage start-up of the 56th National Anti-Polio Vaccination Campaign to be held until April 21.

A second oral dosage will be given to 363,778 children (from a month to one year, 11 months and 29 days of age), who took the first oral dosage in last February, Lena Lopez said in a press conference. Likewise, 108 110 children (up to nine years old) will take the second oral dosage.

Concerning this campaign, Lena Lopez called upon the parents to go to the vaccination centers during these days, which coincide with the school break week.

As stated by Lena, all Cuban health service areas have the human resources and material to carry out this program.
