Five senior officials from the Land, Infrastructure and Transport sector will join their counterparts from the DPRK to evaluate the investigation.

In the middle of last month, the two countries agreed to begin works to reconnect cross-border roads and railways by the end of this November or early December.

Since the two Koreas reactivated contacts in January 2018, they have held meetings on various topics of mutual interest and with positive consensus to normalize their ties, move towards denuclearization, promote peace and stability of the peninsula they share.
