"We intend Manduley Avenue to become an important cultural area, as is the iconic Heredia street," said Tania Fernández Chaveco, Provincial Director of Culture in Santiago de Cuba, on the occasion of the inauguration of René Cedeño Valdes Gallery.
This main route of the Vista Alegre neighborhood, hosts in their areas countless facilities promoting arts in the territory.
These include the Maison –place where the most diverse design exhibitions and national and local modeling are shown;  Pottery House, the Music Museum, the Palace of Pioneers and the Provincial Delegation of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
Likewise the house stands the Vicente Aguilera family house, René Cedeño Valdes Gallery, the Caribbean House and Recreation Center Orestes Acosta (CIROA).
According to the official of the Department, these cultural centers constitute spaces to enrich the union of all the arts in the city and strengthen the vision of the Manduley Avenue.
Important to mention that in this street are also located dining facilities like the Coyaba Business Unit and Compay Tiago' inns.
