American Musicians Share With Colleagues in Santiago de Cuba

US and local musicians share to 21 next artistic proposals and theoretical lectures, sponsored by the provincial branch of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC).
According to the program, in the afternoon it will be offered at the Esteban Salas Conservatory a master class saxophone, by Professor Dan Yoder, State University of Pennsylvania, while tomorrow will be the conference on phrasing and styles of Latin jazz and bass and key in Cuba.
In the Dolores Concert Hall concerts begin Tuesday with the combo of the University of Richmond, the quintet of trombones of Pennsylvania, invited the Latin Jazz Messenger and Zulema Iglesias and Cuban Influence group.
Academic exchange will include lectures and master classes of Santiago Maestro Daniel Guzmán, with American Mike Davidson and Mark Lusk, and the participation of professional musicians and students of art education in the city.
The headquarters of the UNEAC, the Heredia Theater and the Iris Jazz Club will be the other stages of this meeting, which will take part also Saxophone Quartet Magic Sax, Ivan Acosta and De Cuba group santiagueros us and vocalist Giselle Lage.
During the conference participants will enjoy free downloads jazz and Friday, the closing concert will be a band of that genre, composed of the groups and soloists from both countries.
