Popular performers Yaíma Saez and Ivette Cepeda will be responsible of the concerts opening and closing the XXVIII edition of Boleros Festival in Santiago de Cuba, to be held from 15 to 19 June, as announced in this city Rodulfo Vaillant García, President of UNEAC.
The Saéz concert will be at the Cine Cuba, on June 16 at 8:00 pm. A few hours earlier (5:30 pm) at the Dolores Concert Hall, it will be officially opened the festival with an artistic show.
Meanwhile, the closure of Boleros in Santiago is scheduled for the afternoon (5:00 pm) June 19, with the presentation of Ivette Cepeda and his group, at the Heredia Cultural Complex.
The activities of this festival of boleros, however, will start from June 15 itself, with the usual presentations boleristas in Santiago neighborhoods. This time there have been four selected CDR:
CDR 7 Zone 310, located in René Ramos Latour, and / Martyrs of Virginius and Santacilia
CDR 9 Zone 312, located in butchery, and / Havana and Maceo
CDR 9 Zone 361, located at Cale 26, and / Captain Cuevas and Farm Road
CDR 5 Area 574, Calle D, e / Aguilera and Heredia
Also, the most romantic musical genres will be left also heard in the towns of El Cristo and El Cobre.
XXVIII edition of Boleros Festival in Santiago is dedicated this time to Puerto Rico and Daniel Santos, and to pay tribute to Vicentico Valdes.
In addition to Yaíma Saez and Ivette Cepeda, you can enjoy performances (confirmed) Anais Abreu, Geidy Chapman and Alexander Martinez; who will share the stage with the leading exponents of the genre in Santiago de Cuba.
