xescuela rural cubana jr.jpg.pagespeed.ic.Fgtl2gTF11With the premise of Fidel Castro that "the educational effort in the coming years must be aimed at increasing efficiency and quality in teaching and education", the santiagueras rural schools began this September 5 the school year 2016 - 2017.
In Santiago de Cuba nearly 80% of primary schools are embedded in remote areas of the urban environment, so that the changes of this teaching loom large in rural schools, especially those that are characterized as multigrade.
Hence the teachers responsible for bringing knowledge to the classroom have received a good preparation in the preceding months for higher quality in the educational process, in order to promote more directly comprehensive training and life, of the inhabitants of our rural areas.
The ultimate goal is to make each of the children in these regions become bastions of future society we are building.
Thus, the rural multigrade primary school is in a process of improvement in learning plays a role of first order, because by the content of teaching are intended to achieve the standards and desired civic behavior and especially the patriotic feelings sucking primary education project.
One element that distinguishes rural schools is called "single class", which is an inclusive process that works with all and for all. This means that class must be planned with a structure that allows the teacher to direct the actions so that the process is projected to the group and not to each grade.
This presupposes a great teacher preparation, to accurately guide the group and independent activities, and systematically control the outcome of both.

With the development of the single class, is bet not only the work done by the teacher in the classroom but also the cooperation between students who in their interpersonal relationships strengthen the learning of their fellow countrymen lower grades; so within a multigrade group there is a developer and active integration, which encourages and facilitates learning.
Today it is possible to say that the Cuban rural sector has a new perspective, based on the preparation of teachers, care received by children and the work is set in the community and family.
