These days the Center for Studies in Higher Education (CEES) "Manuel F. Gran", University of East (UO), calls for the VI edition of the Diploma in University Teaching, in order to contribute to the scientific methodological– training of young teachers, in line with the priorities of the Ministry of Higher Education.
This new edition, according to the website review http://latablilla.uo.edu.cu, delve into topics related to political-ideological training, pedagogy and didactics of education at this level, management science, innovation and graduate. Themes that facilitate the insertion of graduate teaching departments of the UO.
The official opening of the diploma that will grant 20 credits to participants, according to information provided by the aforementioned source, is scheduled for Friday October 21 at the premises of CEES on the campus Julio Antonio Mella of Santiago University.
The same will be held every Friday morning and afternoon, until 23 June next year and will include 240 hours of classes and 720 hours of independent work.
This diploma responds to the continuous improvement of the Cuban Higher Education in order to achieve a more competent training of its graduates, since it contributes to the development of young people who join as teachers in universities in the field of their professional field with a critical and creative approach.
