In order to greet the 55th anniversary of the UJC and 56 of the OPJM, a wide range of political, cultural, sporting, productive and recreational activities takes place in the province.
The youngsters of the territory have been inserted in different productive tasks; They plan to carry out voluntary work in support of the harvest and will work in the different works that are executed in the Santiago Arde project.
On this occasion they will come to factories, hospitals, and CPA, to learn about the work of the young workers, who will receive the recognition of the Provincial Bureau of the UJC.
There will also be a pedaling, mainly carried out by the pioneers, to which can be added the one that wishes. They will also make a walk from the Plaza de la Revolución to the Santa Ifigenia Heritage Cemetery to pay tribute to José Martí and our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.
The program includes a simultaneous chess as well as a Giant Play.
For the celebration a great fair is prepared in the Avenue Victoriano Garzón and a Festival of the Fruits and Ice creams in the Park of the Dreams.
On this occasion, they will celebrate the 15 years of 55 girls, in the Céspedes Park.
In the same way, they develop a day of blood donations, in which the students of Medical Sciences march to the forefront.
Members of the Provincial Bureau of the UJC visited different centers, such as the Antonio Maceo School of Integral Training, where they study adolescents and young people with special educational needs, making them participants in the fun, and gave them some gifts.
Another meeting point was the Oncohematology room, of the "Infantil Sur", where some 12 children are hospitalized, who expressed their joy and gratitude and were able to enjoy a small play that recreated the story Ricitos de Oro. Their faces showed great Satisfaction when received from the hands of youth leaders, treats and toys.
They also visited the houses for children without family protection, located in the distribution Vista Alegre, the popular council Boniato and in the municipality of Palma Soriano.
