Diving enthusiasts in eastern Cuba can also enjoy a circuit with different points in the geography of that part of the country.
There you can dive in Santa Lucia in Camagüey, Covarrubias in Las Tunas, Marea del Portillo in Granma and Santiago de Cuba, stated Bruguera.
Santiago de Cuba is very attractive due to the well-known naval battle during the Cuban-Hispanic-American war and you can see more than five sunken ships in the Bay of Santiago.
Bruguera considered that the excellent condition of the wrecks favors the practice of contemplative diving not only for the most experienced tourists but also for beginners, thanks to their proximity to the coast.
In Santa Lucia (Camagüey), there is also an International Diving Center where nautical activities take place with a kitesurf polygon and the peculiarity of the only shark show in the country, he noted.
It also offers other recreational options such as seafaring at Playa Bonita and snorkeling at the coral reef, the second largest in the world after the one in Australia.
