The staff of agricultural and commerce unions from Guama municipality of Santiago de Cuba started on Friday 11^th , the politic process of presenting and informing the economy plan and budget.

According to the schedule, 4 thousand 295 members and workers meetings and 279 meetings of representatives will be carried out. These are chances where the Cuban work population has the possibility to decide as the real owner of production means.

Daniel Romero, economic affairs official of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Worker Head Office (CTC in Spanish) said that the preparation of the relevant moment was preceded by an intense training program, in order to prepare the union representatives with the bigger amount of knowledge possible so they could be able to represent their members in an accurate way.

Mr.Romero praised the different workshops where the enterprises with best economic results transmitted their good practices to other entities that did not meet the plan of the past year and others that had more expenses than revenues.

The shared responsibility between the union and the administration was considered as essential by Mr. Romero because this issue makes these events not to be a formality.

“They must be spaces of commitment, contributions to materialized the numbers set, what implies as many as the support of the raw material, its arrival on time as the good management on the attention to employees” he pointed out.
