The furrows of land and planting sugar cane are fundamental activities at this stage of preparing the 2015-2016 marketing year. The Santiago de Cuba province is committed to ending this phase the end of September.
Although activity is planned until December, there is a covenant of Santiago sugar company to close by October, because in the last months of drought intensifies and more difficult all the cane planting, unless irrigated.
