President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Raul Castro attends here today Holy Mass officiating Pope Francisco from the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Charity, Patroness of Cuba, the third and last of the foreseen for his first visit to Cuba.

The Cuban head of state was also present at Holy Mass officiated on Sunday and Monday in the Revolution places in Havana and Major General Calixto Garcia Holguin, Masses with the participation of thousands of Cubans and many foreign pilgrims who traveled expressly to listen the homilies from Francisco.
The Pope entered the emblematic Sanctuary after being welcomed by the people of this mining town in eastern Cuba at the early hours of the morning waiting for the Eucharist which is attended by over a thousand people.
Before beginning the Mass on that site, the pope shook hands with the Cuban leader.
A mass that venerates the Virgin of Charity, with a message of hope and support to families, children and youth.
