Today, the people of Santiago, on behalf of all Cuba, will honor the outstanding revolutionaries' youngsters Josue Pais, Floro Vistel and Salvador Pascual, viciously murdered at the intersection of Paseo Martí and the Flor Crombet Avenue in this city 58 years ago by henchmen of the dictator Fulgencio Batista.

At this historic site, where they laid down their precious lives to defend the ideals for the final liberation of Cuba, they will be remembered the events of June 30, 1957 when were organized several actions by the 26 de Julio Movement, to boycott a farce of the oppressive regime in the central Cespedes Park in Santiago de Cuba.
One such group consisted of Josué, Floro and Salvador, who in unequal combat gave their lives, crossing that day the threshold of immortality to become paradigms for present and future generations, in the hard battle to maintain the gains that nowadays enjoys our society.
Again combatants Cuban Revolution, students, workers, pioneers, families of the fallen and the people in general, will attend this meeting with the country and with the memory of their martyrs to pay posthumous tribute on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of this historic revolutionary action.
El eterno homenaje a Josué, Floro y Salvador

Hoy, el pueblo santiaguero, en representación de toda Cuba, rendirá homenaje a los destacados jóvenes revolucionarios Josué País, Floro Vistel y Salvador Pascual, asesinados vilmente en la intersección del Paseo Martí y la avenida Flor Crombet, en esta ciudad, hace 58 años por esbirros del dictador Fulgencio Batista.
En ese histórico sitio, donde ofrendaron sus valiosas vidas por defender los ideales por la liberación definitiva de Cuba, serán recordados los hechos del 30 de junio de 1957 cuando fueron organizadas por el Movimiento 26 de Julio, varias acciones para boicotear una farsa del régimen opresor en el céntrico Parque Céspedes de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba.
Uno de esos grupos estaba formado por Josué, Floro y Salvador, quienes en desigual combate ofrendaron sus vidas, traspasando ese día el umbral de la inmortalidad para convertirse en paradigmas para las actuales y futuras generaciones, en la dura batalla por mantener las conquistas que disfruta hoy nuestra sociedad.
Nuevamente los combatientes de las Revolución cubana, estudiantes, trabajadores, pioneros, familiares de los caídos y el pueblo en general, asistirán a esta cita con la Patria y con la memoria de sus mártires para rendirle el póstumo homenaje, en ocasión del 58 aniversario de esa histórica acción revolucionaria.
