The cabaret Study Macubá put an end to 20 years of neglect of the old cinema on the street of Santo Tomas, the project materialized work of architect Frank Lujan and artist Carlos René Aguilera, which included the cover, using the walls which is still standing, ceiling, a stage of 120 square meters and a building in the main hall for 120 people, according to the newspaper Granma.

Air conditioning, LED lights, modern audio technology, paintings by the artist Carlos René Aguilera and a multipurpose room on the top floor with 30 capabilities complement the brand new headquarters of the theater group Studio Macubá.
