Madrid, Feb 12 (Prensa Latina) Antonio Hernando, parliamentarian spokesman for the Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE), described today outgoing president of Government Mariano Rajoy as irresponsible, behaving as candidate to the investiture.
"There are trains that pass once in a lifetime and in politics, Rajoyâ�Ös, luckily, has passed", said Hernando referring to the stance taken by Rajoy following the meeting with Albert Rivera, leader of the party Ciudadanos.

For Hernando, PSOE spokesman at the Congress of Deputies, Rajoy, head of the ruling Partido Popular (PP) behaved today as a presidential candidate, a behavior that he described as disrespectful to the constitutional times and institutions.

Hernando said that this is the time for PSOE secretary general Pedro Sanchez to face up king Philip VIâ�Ös task and lead the Lower House, following Rajoyâ�Ös refusal due to the lack of support.

Conservatives seek to justify the need to set up the management of PP, on the grounds that a contrary situation would benefit the armed group ETA and would end the possible outgo of Spain from the international coalition against the Islamic State.

He also deplored Rajoyâ�Ös statements against corruption, when his party has been subjected to numerous scandals of irregularities in the Valencian Community and other territories.

Regarding PSOE negotiation seeking to set up a progressive and reformist management, Hernando said that the talks are going adequately.
