Hanoi, Apr 18 (Prensa Latina) The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) congratulated its Cuban counterpart organization (PCC) on the occasion of its 7th Congress, also reiterating its satisfaction with the solid development of the relations between the two states and peoples.

In the message, the CPV Central Committee expresses its conviction that the meeting of the Cuban communists with the rebellious spirit of the Sierra Maestra and Giron, under the correct leadership of the PCC, led by Fidel and Raul Castro will continue with the guidelines of the economic and social policy of the Party and the Revolution.

The PCV recognizes that amidst the complex events taking place in the world, such as the slow economic recovery and climate change, the PCC and the Cuban people, with extraordinary efforts, "have made great achievements in the updating process of the model of socioeconomic development ".

They have also destroyed step by step the attempts of isolation and blockade imposed by the United States more than five decades ago.
