China, Indonesia Agree to Increase Strategic Association

Beijing, Apr 27 (Prensa Latina) China and Indonesia promised to increase pragmatics cooperation and comprehensive strategic association during the V meeting of the bilateral talks mechanism of deputy prime ministers held here, announced the government today.
Chinese State Counselor, Yang Jiechi and the coordinator Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of Indonesia, Luhut Panjaitan, co-chaired the meeting in this capital.
During the meeting, Yang called on both parties to consider bilateral ties from a strategic perspective and of long-term to strengthen cooperation in politics and security.
Both sides agreed to integrate development strategies strategic development to raise mutual assistance and joint work on railways, electric power, mining, aerospace sphere, agriculture and fishing.
They also agreed to coordinate and work with international organizations and multilateral mechanisms for greater contribution to peace, stability and regional and global development.
