Chinese, Bolivian Presidents Value Development of Relations

xi evoBeijing, Jul 15 (Prensa Latina) President of China, Xi Jinping, and his peer from Bolivia, Evo Morales, assessed the development of relationS between the two countries on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties, the government reported today.


According to a published statement, the two leaders recently exchanged messages to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between their countries.

In his letter to Morales, Xi considered Chinese-Bolivian ties had reached a significant development in this period due to the joint efforts of both sides.

He recalled that the two have exchanged views on cooperation between Beijing and La Paz, and also the China-Latin America cooperation, achieving an important consensus during his trip to Latin America during July 2014, as well as the state visit of Morales to this nation in December 2013.

In addition, the Chinese president was pleased with the new developments showed in the bilateral and pragmatic cooperation in areas such as energy, mining, infrastructure and aerospace.

He expressed his desire to work with Morales to develop exchanges and cooperation in various fields and thus generate more benefits for both their countries and their people.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Bolivian counterpart, David Choquehuanca, also exchanged congratulatory messages on the commemoration of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bolivia 30 years ago.
