According to the source, Abbas received a call from Merkel, who informed him about the results of her recent meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv.

Abbas thanked Germany for its economic support for the Palestinian institutional strengthening and UNRWA.
According to the Palestinian Authority, both leaders agreed to maintain communication and coordination during the coming months.
