Kang did not elaborate about the initiative.

On the other hand, the foreign minister pointed out that her country will maintain close collaboration with the United States and will make new efforts to facilitate dialogue on denuclearization between Washington and Pyongyang.
In that regard, she mentioned the imminent plans to coordinate the details in working group meetings.
Earlier this year, the DPRK paved the way to understanding, peace and the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and since then, it has held meetings at different levels with South Korea, the United States and China to achieve those goals
