The event, attended by representatives of 33 Latin American and Caribbean nations, is held every two years and in this edition its participants have made decisions to contribute to the global environmental agenda.
Issues such as the decarbonization of the economy and the efficient use of natural resources have marked the meeting's agenda since last Tuesday, focusing on the most pressing problems rocking Latin America related to the effects of climate change.
The Ministers' Forum will include part of what has been presented in order to contribute from this region to the 4th Meeting of the UN Environment Assembly, which will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, on March 11-15, 2019.
Buenos Aires, Oct 12 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Vice Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, Jose Fidel Santana Nuñez, heads the Cuban delegation to the 21st Forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean which concludes in Buenos Aires on Friday.
