Moscow, Oct 19 (Prensa Latina) A United States spy plane Boeing RC-135U made today a reconaissance flight all along the western border of Russia, informed today the capital''s TV. The radio-electronic surveillance ship neared to 52.75 kilometers of Russian air space.
Over the last times, U.S. spy flights became more frequent near the territory of this Euro Asian country, as occurred last October 8, when a U.S. drone flew near the coasts of Crimea.
One week before the incident in Crimea, another U.S. drone was also detected near this peninsula and the Russian region of Krasnodar, in the south of this nation.
The Russian Ministry of Defense called the Pentagon on several occasions to abstain of such practice, to which the U.S. party answered negatively to suspend such flights.
Russia and the United States live now one of the most tense moments of their relations since the announced end of the Cold War, which translates into a reinforcement of U.S. military presence near the Russian western border.
Washington looks also to place strategic weapons facilities in territory of Georgia, while in countries such as Poland, Czech Republic and Rumania, they deploy part of their global system of anti-missile defense.
Moscow, considering that strategy of the White House as a threat to its national security, reinforces its western border both with more troops and combat equipment, as with radio-electronic fighting stations.
