Damascus, Nov 6 (Prensa Latina) Terrorist groups, with the active collaboration of the so-called White Helmets, are continuing preparations for a large-scale chemical attack provocation around the Syrian province of Idleb, say observers in Damascus. In this regard, these sources indicate that they are trying to charge Damascus and Moscow with the stigma of violators of the non-proliferation of chemical weapons in order to promote new aggressive actions against Syria.
Idleb, a border province with Turkey, is controlled in about two-thirds by extremist organizations that refuse to negotiate and constantly violate the region proposed to be demilitarized by Moscow, Ankara and the support of Syria.
Russian military experts, with the collaboration of the Syrian Army, are monitoring the situation by means of chemical, biological and radiation reconnaissance vehicles deployed at posts close to the proposed demilitarized zone.
The assessments indicate that the White Helmets fulfil a highly questioned function of 'public relations' because they never carry out their alleged 'humanitarian assistance' in Syrian army regions.
The former Al Nusra, now the Levant Liberation Board, uses them as a screen and of course, according to analysts' criteria, they forget that their origins are not Syrian and that they did receive in Istanbul, when they were founded, some 16 million dollars as financial support.
These contributions, publicly exposed in newspapers such as the Daily Telegraph, among others, have come mainly from entities such as the firm Mayday Rescue, based in Amsterdam, Holland and offices in Jordan, Turkey and Dubai.
The orchestrated provocation, according to the denunciations, has the backing of the UK's MI6, the main preparer of James Le Mesurier, the head of those white helmets, a former British intelligence officer and a consultant to private companies for the hiring of paramilitaries.
The organization has also incorporated new sources of funding since 2016, such as that provided by Chemonics International, a U.S. private international development organization and one of USAID's main contractors.
All this happens and intensifies when President Bashar Al Assad's government and the Syrian army recovered more than 90 percent of the country's territory and, along with Russia and other allies, advances in peace negotiations.
