Ramallah, Nov 13 (Prensa Latina) The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) blamed Israel for what it described as a dangerous escalation in the blockaded Gaza Strip. The Palestinian authorities denounced the Israeli attack on civilian facilities, claiming that two million Palestinians who have suffered the illegal siege of Israel for the past 12 years have been attacked and have nowhere to go for refuge.
Israel's deliberate attack on residential buildings, a television station, and other civilian facilities are war crimes, and it must face the consequences of its actions, the PLO said.
The Palestinian leadership is committed to defending the right of its people to live in peace, security, and freedom using all available diplomatic and legal tools.
With the help of Egypt and other interested parties, we will continue our serious efforts to achieve reconciliation and unity in Palestine, the statement concluded.
