Buenos Aires, Nov 15 (Prensa Latina) Argentine President Mauricio Macri announced on Thursday that he will not accept violent situations and authorities will act with the full force of the law, after the events that took place at the Recoleta Cemetery and the residence of Judge Claudio Bonadio. On Wednesday afternoon, a couple, who were injured, exploded several homemade bombs in the Recoleta Cemetery and hours later another person was arrested, allegedly accused of placing an explosive device in Judge Bonadio's home.
'It has to be clearer than ever: we are going to act with all the rigors of the law', Macri warned, adding that from the government 'we are in an absolute fight against organized crime and drug trafficking, and we need to improve more and more relations among security forces, judges and prosecutors'.
The president stressed that he expects these two events to be clarified in order to know if there is an intention behind the attacks regarding the G20 Summit to be held on November 30 and December 1, after considering the two cases as 'flashy.'
On the other hand, he praised that finally the 2019 draft budget, whose debate in both houses ran with tensions between legislators and a great social upheaval in the streets, has become a law this morning after considering that it is a support to the path taken so that Argentina 'has balance' in its accounts.
In his statresments to local media, he again stressed the importance of the G20 leaders' summit to be held for the first time in Buenos Aires with the presence of important leaders and which he expects will serve to 'give the world the image of an Argentina of work, friendly, willing to move forward and to make its contribution to the solution of global problems'.
