Damascus, Dec 7 (Prensa Latina) About 22 trucks arrived in the Arisha refugee camp in the northern province of Hasaka, filled with humanitarian aid from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Red Cross, after the damage caused by recent rains and floodings. According to reports, these displaced people left the eastern province of Deir Ezzor, east of the Euphrates River, where groups of the Islamic State terrorists, Daesh in Arabic language, still control a strip of 5 kilometers wide by 20 kilometers long.
Clashes between these groups and the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces, mainly composed of Kurds and backed by the United States, continue in that region, very close to the border with Iraq.
