Mexico, Jan 4 (Prensa Latina) President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador today called for peace, tranquility and love for Mexico at his usual morning press conference at the National Palace when asked about it.

The appearance served to ratify his very insistent preaching that all government officials have to make such statements about their wealth, otherwise they will not be able to hold any office. The important thing is to be transparent and not to go over what you have,' he has repeated.

Regarding the National Guard, an issue that is opposed by traditional parties, he said that many young people who have confidence in the new government want to participate as elements of that new body and want to help with dignified, honest, necessary, and important work at this moment.

He reiterated that young people will be guaranteed the right to work and study and announced that the apprenticeship program is about to begin within the formation of young people, training, for which there are allocated 44 billion pesos (2.2 billion dollars) that will be invested in hiring these boys.

We are talking, he said, about a program that is going to have a goal of two million 300 thousand young people who are going to be hired, who are going to be paid three thousand 700 pesos per month (185 dollars), and he promised that there will not be a young man without a job, and in the case of the police the income will be higher.
