Beijing, Mar 15 (Prensa Latina) The Chinese government on Friday denied to have requested or has plans to ask its companies to commit espionage on other nations, by emphasizing the incompatibility of that practice with national laws.
Prime Minister Li Keqiang told reporters that his country's authorities will never go for this action while expanding markets to the world.
'This activity is not compatible with the Chinese law and it is not how China acts,' Li said.
Chinese companies such as telecom giants Huawei and ZTE are facing growing obstacles to operate abroad precisely due to accusations of alleged spying and theft of technologies, which are part of a U.S.-led campaign.
