javier cousoMadrid, Jul 30 (Prensa Latina) The Spanish Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the United Left party, Javier Couso, reported today that he received death threats for defending Venezuela in the European Parliament.
I had never received death threats before, even with calls to my phone, for defending the truth of Venezuela, said the brother of Jose Couso, a Spanish cameraman who died during the invasion of Iraq by the United States Army.

In a ceremony in remembrance of President Hugo Chávez he recalled that the European Parliament has adopted seven resolutions against Venezuela, with completely harmful contents, but that did not happen the same with other countries where human rights are violated.

Couso recalled that recently the adoption of an interventionist MEPs visit to Venezuela was stopped, but he warned that surely it will be tried again in September because the European extreme right attacks will be stronger.

The Spanish politician stressed that the peoples of southern Europe suffer the scourge of the great financial powers, which want to hide the teachings that changed the geopolitics of Latin America.
