Morales expresses gratitude for solidarity after emergency landing

La Paz, Nov 5 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian President Evo Morales expressed gratitude on Tuesday for the numerous shows of solidarity that he received after the presidential helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing after taking off in the city of Colquiri.

'Brothers and sisters, today, after inaugurating the road in Colquiri, we had an incident with the helicopter that will be duly investigated. Thanks to God, the Pachamama and our Achachilas, we are fine and no one was hurt,' Morales tweeted on his official account @evoespueblo.

The Bolivian president expressed his gratitude for 'the numerous shows of solidarity,' after the news was reported and the Bolivian Air Force (FAB) certified in a communiqué that the helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing.

For his part, President Nicolas Maduro posted on social networks, 'On behalf of the Venezuelan people, I express my deep solidarity and support to our Indian Chief of the South @evoespueblo, who escaped unharmed from an air accident.'
