On Sunday, during the close of the III Anti-Imperialist Solidarity Conference, for Democracy and against Neoliberalism, held in Havana, Cuba, the Venezuelan head of state praised the struggles of the Latin American and Caribbean peoples against capitalism and the neoliberal policies that the United States and its international allies intend to impose.

Delegates from the five continents expressed their support for Venezuela throughout the event and in the final declaration.

Similarly, on November 1, on inaugurating the Christmas festivities, Maduro said that the end of this year would be a celebration of peace, even though the Venezuelan right and the United States continue to devise plans to destabilize the country, pointing out that nothing will interrupt Venezuelans' tranquility.
