Tokyo, Aug 5 (Prensa Latina) Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, today formalized a request to investigate on espionage against senior Japanese government posts committed by the National Security Agenda (NSA), of the United States.
In a 30-minute conversation with U.S. Vice President, Joseph Biden, the head of the Japanese government sued the White House an inquiry into the incident released by the Wikileaks website.
That complaint revealed that the NSA put under surveillance from 2006 to 2007, at least 35 Japanese officials and personalities from the world of business.
During that year, Abe served as prime minister that later lost in elections, but then took over in late 2013.
According to NHK (Japanese Broadcasting Corporation), the head of the Japanese government confessed Biden that the news caused a great controversy in the archipelago and problems to the Executive.
He also stated that if the facts published by WikiLeaks are true, it could undermine the relationship of trust between the two allies, for which he expressed deep concern.
