Evo Morales: Despite World Economic Crisis, Bolivia Grows

evoLa Paz, Sep 7 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian president, Evo Morales asserted today that depsite the economic crisis of the world capitalist system and the low prices of oil the country experiences economic growth.
I wanted to clarified that those against the process of changes, which despite the fall of prices of oil and raw material, Bolivia is going economically well, we have grew and will continue forward, emphasized Morales in a press conference.

He added that the new inversions carried out by the government, regarding energy, mining, hydrocarbons and other items confirmed that economy will continue growing.

Morales recalled that the government will invest in two new hydro-electrical plants in the central department of Cochabamba, which will produce 50 megabytes to the National Electrical System in six years.

He added that those investments will generate multiple uses for the economic development of the nation.

Obviously the fall in prices has negative effect, but we're doing well and we hope that our GDP will return to five percent this year, stated the President.

The leader stated forward that public investment in 2016 will grow with internal and external resources, and said that most of them will be allocated to the building of airports, hospitals and bridges.

This whole process allows us to ensure that the country's economy will grow, of course, we must take some austerity measures, and continue to invest in these and other projects, so our process of changes will continue forward in order to improve the economy of all Bolivians, he added.
