Hanoi, Sep 21 (Prensa Latina) Vietnams President, Truong Tan Sang, will carry out an official visit to Cuba from September 28 to 30, after attending the UN Summit on Sustainable Development, it was reported here.
The Vietnamese statesman will travel to the Caribbean island invited by his Cuban peer, Raul Castro, and to the activities of the important meeting on the Post 2015 Development Agenda at the UN headquarters in New York by its Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

His visit to Cuba coincides with the celebration this year of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, on December 2.

Bilateral ties have as a recent expression the program Minister of Finance and Prices of the Caribbean country, Lina Pedraza, concluded here yesterday, occasion in which she was received by Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung.

On Sept. 9, President Truong Tan Sang spoke with participants at the 7th Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, included the delegation headed by the president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Kenia Serrano, and also comprised of Cuban Fighter against Terrorism and Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Antonio Guerrero.
