The Chinese foreign Affairs ministry made a manuscript on the 70 anniversary of the UN organization (UN) in the framework of the participation the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping will have in the meetings of that international institution in New York this week.
The document states that it is important to build a new type of international diplomacy characterized by cooperation of mutual benefit and a community of shared destiny.
It also calls for greater democracy and maintain the rule of law in international relations.
The text stresses that the UN 70th anniversary is a good opportunity for the international community to review the history, keep the result of the anti-fascist world war and look forward to make the vision of the UN Charta Magna come to fruition soon.
Through this document the government calls on UN members to keep the Charter, defend the common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security and move forward towards cooperation for global development.
The UN has been the most representative intergovernmental organization with authority in history and played a great role during the last seven decades, mentioned the document.
With a comprehensive summary of China's view on important issues in the 70 anniversary of the United Nations, the document explains the position of this nation on the role of the Security Council, the maintenance of peace, public health, safety, childhood, education, disability, climate change, terrorism, computing security, human rights and the efficiency and effectiveness of the UN.
President Xi Jinping will travel today to the United States to meet with his US counterpart, President Barack Obama.
