Berlin, Sep 28 (Prensa Latina) The mass immigration of refugees to Germany continues to provoke debates about the management of this phenomenon, while authorities try to guarantee accommodation and supplies for immigrants during the coming winter.
According to local media, thousands of exiles, mostly from Syria, arrived this weekend to Germany on trains.
In the afternoon, the police in Berlin, is expecting another train with 450 people from Salzburg, Austria.
Despite the restrictive measures at the borders of the European Union in countries such as Hungary, Romania and Poland, the flow of refugees continues to break records in the middle of discussions between European countries.
Due to the restoration of border controls between Germany and Austria, the rail traffic between Salzburg and Münich has been interrupted since September 17th to avoid uncontrolled immigration.
Meanwhile, the German authorities are trying to facilitate to the thousands of refugees currently living in camps, safe accommodation during the winter, when temperatures reach minus 20 degrees.
Not only is the weather a problem, but also the rejection of the refugees by part of the population, which worries the authorities.
According to information from the Federal Criminal Police Office, the attacks on refugee homes were carried out mostly by people living in the vicinity of the buildings.
Out of 228 suspects in the attacks, almost three thirds live in the same town, and only 30 percent have been recorded for political offenses.
Most of the alleged perpetrators of the attacks are men under 25 years. In view of this, the police and intelligence services warned that immigration could cause a political radicalization of the population.
In this context, representatives of non-governmental organizations demanded that the authorities accommodate refugees in a decentralized manner, i.e. in small groups.
