Moscow, Oct 2 (Prensa Latina) Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev denounced today, at the opening of the International Investment Forum in Sochi, that the West seeks to curb Russia's participation in the creation of a new global economic order.
There are 'attempts to drag into the 21st century the errors of confrontation from the past century', because of the intention to limit the participation of Moscow in the building of the new world economic order, said the head of government.
Speaking this week at the UN General Assembly, the Russian President Vladimir Putin denounced the unilateral sanctions applied regardless of the UN Charter and converted into commonplace practice; beyond the political objectives they are used to displace the rivals unfairly from competition.
He clarified, however, that the economy is governed by market rules, and Moscow will learn to move without demarcation lines, on the basis of transparency and jointly approved standards, including those of the World Trade Organization, which favor free market, investment and open competition.
