Self-Employed Workers Doubled Up in Cuba in 2011

Self-EmployedHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 6 (acn) The number of self-employed workers grew to 362,355 in 2011, doubling up the figure registered in 2010, according to the Cuban Ministry of Work and Social Security (MTSS), 65 percent of the people involved in this sector are from the provinces of Havana, Matanzas, Villa Clara, Camagüey, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba.

   

Cuba, Fourth Latin American Country in World Heritage List
